Laetitia: Welcome to The Neurodivergent Pulse where we explore the often misunderstood world of neurodivergence with experts, parents, teachers, and therapists. Grounded in lived experience, each bite-sized episode gives you something practical to try. I am your host Laetitia Andrac, AI expert, neurodivergent mum and founder of Understanding Zoe. This podcast is recorded on Dharawal country. I acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
Laetitia: Welcome to the first episode of the Pulse. Today I'm joined by a special guest Zoe. The next few episodes Zoe will only come to do a quick pulse check. But for this one, I wanted to give her the opportunity to introduce herself to all of you listeners. So then when she comes in for a quick pulse check, you know a bit more about Zoe. So Zoe, what would you like to share about yourself with our listeners?
Zoe: I'm a girl called Zoe. I am 9 years old. I don't know if like in a while I'll be 10 and you'll think I'm still nine, but never mind. And I've got a mum called Laetitia. This girl right here. And I've got a dad called Johan. A sister called Lou. Hello and a dog called Cookie, known actual Cookie.
Laetitia: Amazing. Thank you, Zoe, for introducing yourself. And Zoe, we prepared that question before. So, would you like to share with our listener, what is your favourite podcast?
Zoe: My favourite podcast is Greeking Out.
Laetitia: What do you love the most about Greeking Out? Yes. You love Greek mythology.
Zoe: Yeah.
Laetitia: And you often laugh when you listen to Greeking Out as well.
Zoe: Yeah.
Laetitia: Very funny.
Zoe: Especially the dupe.
Laetitia: I love Greeking Out as well. And the oracle is quite fun.
Zoe: Only the bit about snakes, but the rest is good.
Laetitia: The rest is good. Amazing. Thank you, Zoe, for joining today's episode and introducing yourself to our listeners. Next week, we will have a special guest for you to listen to. And every week onwards, you will have special guest speaker sharing about an expertise for you to learn more about neurodivergence and how to support better neurodivergent children or yourselves. Do you want to share any question or anything else with the listeners?
Zoe: I'm not going to ask a question. That's your job. But I am going to point out that the next episode is only next week.
Laetitia: Yay.
Zoe: I love it.
Laetitia: Thank you, Zoe, for joining today's podcast.
Zoe: Bye.
Laetitia: That's a wrap for The Neurodivergent Pulse. If this helped, follow the show and leave us a quick review on your favourite platform. You can even share this episode with someone who needs it. You can learn more about our platform at understanding.com.
