Open the invitation email and sign up with the address it was sent to. Choose the option for joining a village, then enter the code from the email. Say who you are, like their teacher or their grandparent. The person who invited you chooses what you can see. Joining is free.
Good to know: Everyone joins the same way: therapists, teachers, family and friends. That includes people an adult invites to their own village.

When a family wants your support, Understanding Zoe emails you an invitation. You get one email for each person you support. Here's how to join, and how to check what's shared with you.
0:16Signing up with the invited address
Tap the link in the email, then sign up with the exact address the invitation went to. That's how Understanding Zoe knows the invitation is yours.
0:25Entering your code
When the app asks why you're here, choose Joining a village. Then enter the code from your invitation email, and carry on.
0:34Saying who you are
Now tell the family who you are. In the box that says I am their, type your role, like speech pathologist or Year 2 teacher. People in Mia's village see it. You're now part of Mia's village. Mia's family chooses what you can see and add, so everyone works from the same picture.
0:54If you already have an account
Already signed up? New invitations wait in your profile switcher. Tap one, fill in I am their, and join. It only shows if it went to the address you signed up with.
1:06Moving between the people you support
To move between the people you support, open the profile switcher. Everyone shared with you is listed under Shared with me. Tap Noah, and the whole app shows Noah.
1:17Checking what you can see
To see what you can access, open the Village tab, tap your own card, then Permissions. Each kind of information shows what you can do with it. Only Noah's family can change what you see. If something you need isn't shared, ask them to change it. That's you set up. One invitation for each person, always the invited address, and Permissions whenever you're unsure. To add what you notice, open their profile and tell Pip, if the family lets you add notes.

Common questions
Do the people I invite have to pay?
No. Supporters join for free. Only you hold the subscription, and it covers every profile on your account.
What can a supporter see?
Only what you allow. You set nine categories to None, View or Full for each person. You can also hide a single item from chosen people.
Is anything always shared with a supporter?
Yes, two things. Every supporter can read the profile's About Me. Every supporter can also chat with Pip about the profile.
Can a supporter invite other people?
No. Only the profile owner can invite someone, change what they see, or remove them.
Still stuck? Our help page has more answers, and a real person reads every message.
Supporters join free
You do not need a subscription. The person who invited you covers your access. You see what they choose to share. They can change this at any time.
