Everything you log adds up. In this video, see what Pip notices over time, then turn it into a report you can take to a meeting with a teacher or therapist.
0:15Insights on the Story tab
Tap the Story tab. Insights shows the patterns Pip has noticed in everything logged for Mia, written in plain words. They start once you have logged about five observations.
0:27Celebrating wins
Pip spots wins, too. Celebrations come first, like a goal Mia has reached. Progress is easy to miss when you're in the middle of it. Swipe sideways to see more cards. Tap a card and Pip starts a chat about it. Ask what it means or what might help.
0:45The timeline
Switch to Timeline to see everything in order: observations, documents, appointments and more. Tap a chip to show just one kind.
0:55Starting a report
Got a meeting coming up? On Mia's tab, scroll down to Reports and tap Add a report. If you already have reports, tap See all, then the plus button.
1:05Telling Pip about the meeting
Pip asks what it is for. Tell Pip about the meeting. For a school's Individual Education Plan meeting, Pip makes an IEP Parent Contribution. For a therapist, Clinical Appointment Prep. It all comes from what you have logged.
1:22Pip plans, then writes
Pip plans the report first and tells you where it is short on information. Say yes, and Pip writes it. This takes a minute or two.
1:31Editing the draft
Tap the report card to open it. It is a draft, so change anything you like. Tap a section to edit the words, or tap the refresh button to have Pip rewrite that section.
1:43Exporting a PDF
When it reads right, tap Export PDF to save, print or send it. Your reports stay on Mia's tab, under Reports. People in Mia's village may be able to read them too, depending on what you let them see. A line a day is plenty to build the bigger picture.
Common questions
Can I use the app in my language?
Yes. Write to Pip in the language you prefer, and Pip replies in that language. Reports are written in English by default, because services usually ask for it. Ask Pip if you want one in another language.
Does Pip ever get things wrong?
Yes. Pip can miss context or misread a pattern. Tell Pip when something is wrong, and it updates what it remembers. Treat its ideas as things to try, never as instructions.
What can a supporter see?
Only what you allow. You set nine categories to None, View or Full for each person. You can also hide a single item from chosen people.
Still stuck? Our help page has more answers, and a real person reads every message.
