How to prepare for a session with Pip
2 min · Shown on a computer · Captions on · Transcript below
Open a client and Pip is on the right. Click See what's changed lately for the last two weeks. Under an answer, Sources shows what Pip looked at. On Today, click Generate briefing. Pip writes a brief from what has been shared. Edit it, then click Finalise.
Good to know: Pip is a helper, not a clinician, so your judgement comes first. Every brief is saved to the client's Reports, where their family may see it.

Pip is the Understanding Zoe assistant. On the web it sits beside every client's profile, ready to help you get set for a session in a few minutes.
0:13Finding Pip
Open a client and Pip is on the right. It only reads what has been shared with you, and your conversations with Pip are private to you.
0:22Seeing what's changed lately
Click See what's changed lately. Pip looks through the last two weeks and tells you what has shifted for Lily.
0:30Checking Pip's sources
Under an answer, Sources shows what Pip looked at. Click a record to open it and read it for yourself.
0:37Asking your own question
You can also type your own question, like how mornings have been going. Pip is a helper, not a clinician, so your judgement comes first.
0:46Generating a briefing
Click Generate briefing on Today. Pip writes a pre-session brief from Lily's shared logs in a minute or two. If you cannot see it, ask whoever manages the profile.
0:57What the brief covers
The brief starts with what has changed lately. It covers goals and what is working day to day, and ends with what is worth checking in on.
1:07Editing and finalising
Click Edit to change any part yourself, or Rewrite to have Pip try that part again. When it reads right, click Finalise. Click Print or save PDF to print it or keep a copy.
1:20Where briefs are saved
Every brief stays in Reports on Lily's profile, where her family and others in her village may be able to see it. A quick question or one briefing before each session is plenty. Pip can make mistakes, so check anything important. Your past conversations are under the clock at the top of Pip.
Common questions
Does Pip ever get things wrong?
Yes. Pip can miss context or misread a pattern. Tell Pip when something is wrong, and it updates what it remembers. Treat its ideas as things to try, never as instructions.
Is Pip a therapist or a doctor?
No. Pip is not a therapist, a counsellor or a doctor. It helps you organise, notice patterns and prepare. For medical questions, speak with your GP or your prescriber.
What can a supporter see?
Only what you allow. You set nine categories to None, View or Full for each person. You can also hide a single item from chosen people.
Is anything always shared with a supporter?
Yes, two things. Every supporter can read the profile's About Me. Every supporter can also chat with Pip about the profile.
Still stuck? Our help page has more answers, and a real person reads every message.
