2 min · Shown on a phone · Captions on · Transcript below

On the Pip tab, tap the plus button. Take a photo, choose one from Photos, or pick a file. Pip sums up the letter in plain language and saves it to your records. To add emails, tap the plus button, then Email to Pip. Nothing from an email is added until you approve it. You'll find them all under Your Records, on the Me tab.

Good to know: Pip is not a doctor. People in your village may be able to see your records. It depends on what you let each person see.

Letters, reports and emails add up fast. Understanding Zoe keeps them with your records, where Pip can read them and help. Here is how.

0:14Adding a letter or report

Got a letter or a report? On the Pip tab, tap the plus button. Take a photo with Camera, choose one from Photos, or pick a file.

0:24Pip's plain language summary

Pip reads the whole letter and sums it up in plain language: the supports your psychologist suggests, and questions to ask next time.

0:33Pip adds details from the letter

Pip saves the letter to your records. It can also add what the letter mentions, like support ideas or your next appointment, so you don't have to type it in.

0:43Forwarding emails to Pip

Emails work too. Tap the plus button, then Email to Pip. Your profile has its own address. Forward emails from your GP or psychologist to it, from your usual email app.

0:55Approving an email first

When an email arrives, it waits for you on the Pip tab. Tap it, and Pip shows you a short summary first. Nothing is added until you say so. Tap Approve email, and Pip pulls out the dates, reminders and support ideas. Tap the cross on anything you don't need.

1:13Asking Pip about your documents

Later, just ask. Pip brings the email and the letter together to help you get ready for your next appointment. Pip is not a doctor; think of it as a friend who has read the paperwork. Snap a letter or forward an email whenever one arrives, and it's kept with your records.

1:30Finding your records

You'll find them all under Your Records, on the Me tab. People in your village may be able to see them, depending on what you let each person see.

Can Pip read documents I upload?

Yes. Pip reads PDFs, images and Word files. It pulls out the useful parts and saves them as a record.

Does Pip ever get things wrong?

Yes. Pip can miss context or misread a pattern. Tell Pip when something is wrong, and it updates what it remembers. Treat its ideas as things to try, never as instructions.

What can a supporter see?

Only what you allow. You set nine categories to None, View or Full for each person. You can also hide a single item from chosen people.

Still stuck? Our help page has more answers, and a real person reads every message.
